I Miss the Sea

What you see in the deep blue sea
Is a gorgeous shade of one’s true colors
For the water sparkles in the distance
Excitement builds and the sea expands

As I dive into the water, beginning my journey
I see beautiful creatures, like guppies and stingrays
I perform an aileron roll, which may not look graceful
But I am not the sea, I am the explorer

I rise to the surface for a quick breath
And I see the sun setting from afar
I want to explore more, but I will have to wait
The sea is beautiful, even when swimming back

I miss the sea.
